My name is Mark Lapierre and I’m a perennial student, previously of Computer Science but currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology with a view towards a PhD. But ultimately I’m just a young guy trying to figure out my place in the world. And the world itself. And you lot. 
The purpose of this blog was initially to track the progress of my personal development; to plan the steps I would take, to note my experiences along the way, and to keep a record of the milestones I have reached.
Yet I’ve found that while I’m still actively engaged in some areas of personal development, and therefore I will continue to write some personal development related posts, my path has diverged yet again. I’m getting much more enjoyment out of posts of a more philosophical, sociological, psychological, and ultimately scientific nature.
I’d like to engage people in discussion about whatever I post, so go ahead, leave a comment, say whatever you’re thinking.
